The School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

Due to a maternity leave, an opportunity has arisen for a suitably experienced and passionate Safeguarding Officer to join our ‘World Class’ school to lead on safeguarding.

We are looking to appoint a Safeguarding Officer who is highly organised, emotionally resilient and able to prioritise a conflicting workload. The successful candidate will lead and work in partnership with staff, pupils, families and external agencies to ensure the effective implementation of safeguarding policies and procedures across years 7 to 11. The expectation would be to promote a culture of ongoing vigilance to protect and safeguard children across our school and the wider Trust.

The role will be part of a team whose core purpose is to safeguard the welfare of children and young people.

If you are interested in joining our team, please complete the support staff application form (available from the school website or the school reception), explaining why you have the qualities, skills and experience for the role within your personal statement.

Before making your application please note: In line with the "Keeping Children Safe in Education 2024" as part of the safer recruiting requirements, an online and social media search will be conducted as part of our safer recruitment processes.
